Vision and values
Fairway Primary Academy, in the Kings Norton area of Birmingham, provides for the education of children between the ages of four to eleven. We are proud members of the University of Wolverhampton Multi Academy Trust, a family of schools and a supportive network of educational experts that puts pupils first. Being part of a wider group of schools means that we can offer so much to pupils in other communities as well as learning from others as we undertake our learning journey.
Our Mission Statement is
‘Inspiring Learners, Building Foundations, Shaping Futures’
Our Vision and our ethos
We strive to provide a happy and caring learning environment, where pupils are encouraged to thrive in many ways, including, socially, emotionally and academically to achieve the best they possibly can. Developing resilience to overcome challenges is at the heart of our ethos. We do this through a curriculum that is tailored around the needs of our learners and recognises that learning is boundless.
Our Values
A great emphasis is placed on preparing children for life by encouraging them to be responsible, caring and independent. It is also important to us that children develop good manners and show respect for each other and our environment. This is further embedded through our work with Unicef Rights and respecting School Award. Our passion and belief that this can make a difference to children’s lives is a golden thread throughout the school.
